For today's episode, our topic is reversals.

So let's begin.

What is a tarot reversal? Well what it means is the card is turned upside down. So when it's facing you in the reading, it's reversed. There are a lot of people who like working with

them and I'm one of them, but there are also plenty of people who find them

unnecessary. You know when I first began reading Terrow, there wasn't a lot of info available.

You had a handful of decks to choose from and a few books but really there was nothing like

we have today. So when I first got my pause on a ride-of-way deck, all I had to go on back then was the little white book and a copy of Eileen Connolly's Tarot, a handbook for the apprentice.

In both of these resources they feature reversals with no mention of it being

a preference so I assumed that I had to read reversals and I began working with them right away. It wasn't until many years later

when I discovered the internet, Tarot Tribe,

that I learned that many Tarot readers don't use reversals.

And you know what?

They are still able to deliver a standout

tarot reading. So keep in mind you don't need them. This is a preference. So for people who don't use reversals, many of them use a system such as elemental dignities.

And that's a method that involves looking at how the energy at the cards work together or not. We're not going to cover those in this lesson. But if
