Hello, I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson, part of the Scripture Central team with Come Follow Me,

and I am thrilled to be able to talk about the last few chapters in the Book of Revelation.

This is our day and age. This is a fabulous period of time where we finish up the horrific

calamities and the natural disasters and the challenges of the last days prior to the

Savior's return. And then he comes and we have the millennium and then another battle and

finally the celestialized earth. And all of this is described with great symbols. It's

apocalyptic literature. And so I would encourage you as you study to look at

section 77, look at the messages of the prophets, look at the plan of salvation. And the temple

initiated can get more out of this and get on your knees and ask the Lord to help you understand

John's era, and so you have to sort of step back in history too. But it's a fabulous book,

and we are so fortunate to have these keys to unlock it, because I think we will be held

responsible for not following some of the councils. Chapter 16, verses 1 to 22, all refer to a call to action from a heavenly temple.

God's wrath is mentioned 25 times in the New Testament, and a whole bunch of them are right here.

Now, we have these vials that are filled with the plagues.

And remember, in the Old Testament, the temple included these golden bowls, these little vials.

It's almost a sacred offering that is being described here.

But the first one in chapter 16, verse 2 is a grievous sore.

And then the sea is turned to blood, verse 3.

And then the rivers are turned to blood in verse four, and the scourging heat

from verse 8 to 9, and the darkness and the pain, you know, it's described like scorpions.
