College football is finally really back.

I mean, we had the week zero appetizer, and that was fine.

But this was the full buffet, and holy cow, did it deliver.

I thought we just get the thrill of Northern Iowa,

taking Iowa State to three overtime.

I'd be fine with that.

That would have been a satisfying bit of excitement for week one.

But then we got Georgia State whipping, just whipping, Tennessee.

We got a classic between Auburn and Oregon,

where a true freshman makes just an unbelievable throw

with nine seconds to go to win the game.

Had the comeback at the beginning of the day,

Boise State down at Doke Campbell in Tallahassee to Florida State, which looked like it was a night and day difference on offense.

And all of a sudden, the 2018 offense showed up for the second half.

And Boise State behind a freshman quarterback comes back and wins the game.

It was all the drama you could have asked for.

It was everything we waited for for

nine long months. You know, we talked and talked and talked, and we had all our set notions

of what these teams were going to be, and now they're completely blowing it up. Tennessee loses

at Georgia State. Who saw that coming? Missouri loses at Wyoming. Who saw that coming? This was what we were
