IN THIS EPISODE: Tonight, it’s an episode from November 25, 1949 – “The Spiral Staircase” with Dorothy McGuire who also starred in the film version in 1946, from which this radio adaptation is based. In a small village the mute Helen attends a silent film screening in the parlor of a local inn. During the screening, a woman staying at the inn is murdered in her room; the latest in a string of killings in the community. And that’s just how the story begins!
