Perish and this week it's an episode that I've been wanting to do for a long time.

A look at the Chante series and rather than sitting around with a bunch of

bozos in a studio I've taken the podcast down to Santa Clarita or

Valencia. Where are you guys based? Yeah Valencia.

We're in Valencia, California but Santa Clarita it's kind of the same thing.

And I'm talking to introduce yourself. Hey my name is Matt Bozon. I'm the

series director for Chante. So yes I am at the way forward offices and we're

going to talk about Chante not just the outsider perspective but the

inside perspective the the lowdown on how this series came to be and how it

kind of came into the world as a sort of retro facing series. So I feel like

from the moment of conception Chante was was immediately eligible for

RetroNots but you know another series is like 15 years old so of course it's

totally eligible at this point but it feels like a series very heavily

informed by classic gaming and classic concepts so yeah it just seems like a

perfect fit for for our show. Well yeah thank you thanks for coming out and

what exactly has your role been with Chante? You're kind of like Chante's dad.

Yeah so let's see you boy. So when we when we created this thing it was Aaron

Bozon who's my wife at the time we were engaged and we're both animation

students out of Cal Arts. So I think the way this all came about was her
