What's going on?

Welcome to the retirement answer man show. My name is Roger Whitney. I am your host and this is the show dedicated to helping you not just survive retirement but to rock retirement.

And boy, that seems like a big task right now.

Whether you are retired or whether you are on the approach to landing in retirement, the idea of rocking

retirement.

It's hard to have confidence in that right now.

Surviving retirement or getting to retirement may feel a little bit more achievable.

And I get that.

This is uncomfortable, this Corona disruption. I call it the Corona disruption because it is that.

It is a virus, but it is a disruption to so many things in life to our portfolios, to our work, to our income, to our

social life, to being able to be in the same room with our parents or grandparents.

There's a lot of disruption going on.

And I heard this phrase the other day, it's in terms of this disruption in the

isolation that we're being asked to do is, you know, they said there's a saying

evidently if you go to prison you can either do the time or the

time can do you and I'm committed to doing the time making this productive and

focusing on a question that I love to ask myself and I'd say it here

all the time is what does this make possible once we get through the shock of everything

happening.

And mitigating whatever we can mitigate,

what does this make possible?
