Well this is episode two of a five-part series.

This represents a number of teachings I did as a teaching pastor at Dorv Hope on the ideas

of resurrection and new creation in the New Testament.

And here in this teaching we're going to focus on the first paragraph of the first letter

of Peter in the New Testament.

And he uses this beautiful set of metaphors of new birth and living hope that followers

of Jesus have because of his resurrection from the dead.

And in it I share this story of a remarkable human being, a Holocaust survivor named

Victor Frankel and what he learned about the human psychology and the important nature

of human hope in our stories and how that connects to what Peter is saying.
