Hey y'all, welcome to the Christian Bay Podcast for Christ and Culture Connects.

I pray that you guys are having a wonderful day.

As you can see from the title, today we're going to be talking about resting in faith, and we're going to be coming from the book of

Luke chapter 5 verses 18 through 20 so grab your journals I'm sure some of you guys

can relate but one thing that I love about my relationship with God

is that he can give me a word literally from anything like the word can come out of anywhere

so I don't know that's just something that has always happened to me

whether I'm in the grocery store or I'm at home or I'm out with friends like I've

always had this ability to be able to zone out the physical and tap into the spiritual and see what it is that

God is trying to show me in that moment.

So today he gave me the word as soon as I opened my eyes, like y'all, as soon as I opened my eyes,

he gave me this word. And I know y'all probably soon as I open my eyes he gave me this word and I know y'all probably

like girl what this podcast is late but I was with family and I try to be present

when I'm with family and not just on the phone or just you know consumed with work like with COVID and all of the deaths that's happening we need to really be

intentional about being in the moment with our family so if that means the podcast is going up late if that means I'm not as active on

social media as I am I need to appreciate the family that I still have here with me

because I saw on the news today, 1,200 people died today,

just today, 1,200 people died from COVID alone.

So you know, every day that you have with your family
