We are talking about reactive parenting versus responsive parenting.

And we're actually going to do two parts. So today, part one, increasing self-awareness,

because we often can get upset at our children because they react impulsively. Well, I think if we were

really honest with ourselves, we do too.

Sometimes we react without thinking first.

Okay, just for instance, some things that you may have said in the past, like act your age.
