Let's begin with the comment from the comment line about penal's substitutionary

atonement. Hi there. My name is Steve from Riverside, California. I just listened to the issues,

et cetera, email episode and whatnot you last did. And my gosh, you guys, you just can't help yourselves,

can you? For heaven's sakes, you just

can't stop with this false and demonic doctrine of penal substitution. How long is it going to keep

going? There is one verse, one verse in Isaiah that maybe hints along those lines, but it by no means implies that the cross is a divine

punching bag so that we all get to go to heaven. It's an absolutely abhorrent view. It reeks of

reformed theology as well as evangelical theology. Why are you guys doing this? It makes no sense.

It's not even in the book of Concord for heaven's sakes. I'm beyond myself.

How long are you guys going to keep pushing this doctrine? It's an abhorrent doctrine and there is

no love in it. There's no reason within it that adheres to what the Bible is telling us.
