Beyond and hello everyone my name is Jonathan Darbush and this is podcast beyond episode 628. Yes, I'm bringing the energy from the beginning.

Before we start the show, I did want to say thank you to everyone who wrote in on last week's show we put it out out a call for a new segment that we want to do highlighting some of the smaller details and games that we all love.

And so many of you wrote in we seriously got dozens of responses as soon as the episode was out we were getting responses in which is incredible because it should take you at least an hour to listen to the show.

But thank you to everyone who wrote in will definitely be reading a few of those for the end of this week's show so stay tuned for those and continue right those in will get all the information how to do that.

And do want to pull up a comment on going to pull that up later in the show as well because I wanted to start off with a few bigger sort of vague topics that we could discuss for the week obviously play stage five news.

Still hasn't happened we still don't know when it's happening we've got nothing to talk about so there will probably be some speculation all of this but the first thing I did want to talk about is something we know is actually happening and happening soon is dreams is launching on February 14th and before dreams is in its full release obviously was an early access for I think roughly about maybe eight nine months or so since early last year.

And to celebrate everything that's happened the game so far media molecule put on an award show the first annual impi awards this happened I believe last week is when they hosted these or earlier this week full name choice it will be it's the character in the game but yes it probably brings to mind some of the game that isn't out yet everyone's favorite character game where you make your own character I would love to have entered that contest game is not out yet.

Yes so this is obviously for everyone who's been creating in early access and so I just want to briefly bring this up because obviously as we're getting into dreams is full release will be talking about it more but the categories included most helpful dreamer which went to neon the coder best curator the underscore tenia community star project genesis most improved dreamer S.D.E.Rue and lotty underscore double best visuals out post 60 best voice acting keld be Jones well I go back.

Yes what was the for the role of for the role of doesn't say the role. Oh thank you sheriff dog in pig detective to that was it that was a classic role I cannot wait to play dreams.

I was the you guys played pig detective one no it's all Troy Baker which was amazing but for this guy to come along and take choice place yeah it's impressive that's I mean that's no small fees.

year was slurm Kenzie also best came play Kubrick by the underscore burger van and there are you know about another half dozen more awards which is all to say it is insane how much has been created in dreams and the game isn't even officially out yet yeah I know we haven't really gone a ton hands on in the office with it outside of those of us who played a little bit of early access but I think it's something we have all had an eye on every time a creation pops up in our feet like how did someone put this together.
