Our top stories. Six people remain missing and two were rescued from the sea

after huge sections of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed.

The bridge across Baltimore Harbour was hit by a cargo ship at around 1.30 a.m. local time.

Wes Moore, the governor of Maryland, said the vessel had suffered a power outage.

The accident could stop coal shipments from the port for several weeks.

Visa and MasterCard agreed to slash payment processing fees

for merchants in America to settle an antitrust case.

Sellers had accused the credit card companies of charging inflated prices for transactions,

notably in swipe fees.

The landmark deal is expected to save merchants around $30 billion over the next five

years. They are not required to pass those savings on to consumers.

America Supreme Court heard arguments in a case bought by anti-abortion activists that would impose

greater restrictions on the use of Mifopristone, a drug typically used in combination with myoprostol,

another pill to induce abortions.

The Food and Drug Administration began loosening rules on the drug drugs usage and distribution in 2016.
