It is Sunday, February 15th. I'm Ali Velsch. Take a look at this graphic. These are some of the most

senior figures in the federal government, among a relatively small group of people on whom Donald

Trump relies to advise him and to carry out his agenda. So it might be worth taking a closer look

at the job they've done so far. And I want to start with Christy Noem, the former governor of South

Dakota, who's also served four terms in Congress. She's now the head of the Department of Homeland

Security, in charge of much of this country's immigration enforcement apparatus, plus

FEMA, the Coast Guard, the TSA, the Secret Service, and more.

It's an impressive resume, but the events that have unfolded under her watch over just the

first six weeks of this year alone threatened to bring down her entire career.

Two unarmed American citizens have been shot and killed in broad daylight by federal

agents from her department.

Countless other civilians, including children, have been assaulted, harassed, terrorized,

terrorized, and had their constitutional rights violated by agents from her department.

She's been caught lying more than once about consequential matters,

as have some of the people carrying out immigration operations for her department.

Just a few days ago, we learned that two federal immigration officers

who were involved in a shooting that injured a Venezuelan man in Minneapolis last month

are now under criminal investigation after video evidence appears to contradict their sworn testimony

about the shooting.

Nome parroted the lies told by those officers who are now under investigation, and that's not the

only time she's lied about the victims of shootings involving immigration officers. Nome called

Renee Good, a domestic terrorist, and claimed that she weaponized her car in an attempt to run over
