on July 18th.

It's actually the anniversary of the year 64 July 18th when Nero fiddled as Rome burned.

And that's what I feel the conservative movement is doing.

It's not even like the Tea Party where at least you felt during 2009, 2010 headed into

what was going to be an auspicious election against the Democrats that it seemed like

they kind of got it.

They were at least rhetorically focused on the issue of our time, the added control spending

under Obama.

So at least on paper, there was a promise they would change it.

And of course they didn't because it got hijacked by the Republican Party.

So I've been talking about the last year or so.

How do we prevent this new movement from not getting hijacked and repeating the same

mistakes where Republicans win big but nothing changes?

But I don't even need to warn you about that because bizarrely, they're not even faking

to put out the fire.
