Hey, welcome to the Daily Drive podcast where we spend a few minutes just allowing God to stick some truth

for the journey into our hearts,

I'm Mike Bro, and on this drive together, I guess I'm kind of like the Uber driver that just

talks the entire time. You've been in that car. Well, thanks for allowing me just a few minutes

today as we dive into God's word together, because God really is the real driver in all of this. And we're going

through the book of Colosses together. We're midway through chapter three. So if you're like those

restless kids on a road trip asking, are we there yet? Almost, almost. I love this little letter

because it's all about new life in Christ. How do we get it, what it looks

like, and how to practically live it out. And we are in that How to Practically Live It Out section.

We left off yesterday with the writer Paul telling us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.

So let me ask you, how did you do with that yesterday? I found that that's a good

prayer to pray in the morning. God, help me to let your peace rule in my heart today. When you

proactively do that, when conflicts arise later on, you have that reminder already tucked in

your heart from God's spirit, and in that moment, you'll hear him say,

come on, let peace rule. Don't you react in a bad way. Come on. Let peace rule. Don't you be the reason this escalates. Let the peace of Jesus Christ rule in your heart. And now let's look at verse 16 and

17. He goes on and says, let the message about Christ in all its richness
