Welcome to the show, guys. Thank you so much for tune in this week. We have a real gift and treat and special guest for you today, and that is author, pastor, pro-life advocate, Randy Alcorn. Many of you know that name by his very seminal book, Heaven. Maybe you've read some of his novels and maybe you know how involved he's been in the pro-life movement. But he's been a real blessing to me over the years into the body of Christ, into the pro-life movement, who have been pleading with the pastorate in the pulpit for decades to engage on this issue. So I think you're going to really enjoy this. Randy is an author and the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries, or EPM, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching principles of God's Word and assisting the church in ministering to unreached, unfed, unborn, uneducated, unreconsiled, and unsupported people around the world.

His ministry focus is communicating the strategic importance of using our earthly time, short as it is, money,

possessions, and opportunities to invest in need meeting ministries that count for eternity,

hence the eternal perspectives. He has a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies

from Multnomah University and an honorary doctorate from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon,

and is taught on the adjunct faculties of both.

A New York Times best-selling author, Randy, has written more than 50 books, including Heaven, the Treasure Principle,

and the award-winning novel, Safely Home.

His books have sold more than 10 million copies

and have been translated into more than 70 languages.

Randy resides in Gresham, Oregon, with his wife Nancy,

and has, of course, beautiful blessings, children, and grandchildren.
