Summary
[Original airdate: 8/2/24] Mary chats with Dirk Smith today, Vice President of Eastern European Mission (EEM), begun in 1961 to get bibles into the hands of those living in the eastern Communist bloc nations. Their mission to get bibles into the hands of those still living in that region is going strong. Children, prisoners, average citizens – coming to learn of God’s plan of the ages to redeem mankind through the shed blood of our Savior. In the West, news of bibles and copies of the Ten Commandments going into public schools in Louisiana and Oklahoma is like a fresh wind blowing through the rotting school culture of the times. We talk about their publishing arm, new materials for children, and all the ways God is using EEM. An encouraging hour of good news. No matter how dark the hour, God is working.
