I talked this morning to Dan Cogdale so my apologies if you heard this we're just doing a little brief bit of this he's a very very prominent

renowned respected nationally criminal defense attorney and I asked him about the Trump case and you got to realize

Cogdale represents Democrats and Republicans.

He is a hired gun assassin.

He cares about the case much less so I don't I don't think he's a big

Trump guy maybe I don't think so but I asked him you've seen over 300 trials as a

criminal defense attorney you've seen cases that were

silly that were political cases that were the result of a vendetta cases that

should have never been brought and some that should and when you see that

fat alveum brag has brought this case against Donald Trump that his predecessors would never bring,

what is your reaction to that?

I'm not impressed by it, frankly.

I'm, I, look, by it look he's charged with altering business records and look if we're going to

convict a president or former president of a crime, I hope it's a more substantive

offense than that.

I don't know all the details.

I don't know all the details I don't know all the facts but obviously I think

there's political motivation involved and I think Trump has some good defenses.

Look, at the end of the day, they have to prove

that he intended to not only falsify these records,

but in order to make the felony
