Summary

Michael DiTore was a Ricky guy and one of us. He was diagnosed with brain cancer at in May of 2021 and lost that hard fought battle in September of 2022. He was 30 years old, and left behind his wife Rebecca, and his two young sons Dante and Dominic.

Rebecca joins the pod to talk about her new book called 'I'd Still Choose You,' which is out today. It tells the story of their relationship, his battle with cancer, and dealing with the grief of his loss. We also talk about her foundation created in his name, the Mike DiTore Small Moments Foundation, which assists children in the area who have lost a parent to cancer.

Mike D'Tori was a member of the Ricky community. He was a Ricky guy.

He passed away in September of 2022. I first knew about Mike Dittory in May of 2021 when his friend Dave sent me a direct message and told me his friend Mike had been

diagnosed with brain cancer and he was a big ricky guy and could I send him a

t-shirt or something. So I said I would give Mike a call and we did, we spoke in May and he had a great way about him and a great attitude and we talked for a long time. We mostly talked about Ben Simmons, talked about Art of the Take a little bit.

And then his fight with brain cancer had ups and downs and eventually at 30 years old with a wife

and two young kids.

Mike finally lost his fight with brain cancer in September of 2022.

But when I was at the funeral, I briefly met Mike's wife, Rebecca.

And Rebecca has written a book about her relationship

with Mike, about the struggle with brain cancer, and then about grief and moving forward and I found

the book to be incredibly touching, made me cry a few times, inspiring, thought-provoking in a lot of different ways.
