You may notice that this is a different cast of fellows than have been on the regular

hosts of the thinking fellows lately. Today we are going to be doing a special episode celebrating

the life of Jim Nessigan. And these three men in particular were greatly impacted by Jim

and knew Jim well. And I think they are going to tell some stories.

I think we all got very hard news.

It's about two weeks ago now that Jim had died of an apparent heart attack.

I think of all those listeners will likely, some of you will know Jim from episodes that he appeared on.

Perhaps the most famous episode of the thinking fellas I'm finding out is the absolution

episode that we did at here we still stand, I want to say, 2018.

I think it was 2018, yeah.

With Jim and Steve, who's on this episode today.

And Jim was on a handful of other episodes.

He was on a bunch of episodes that we recorded in Norway as well.

So I was able to record with Jim and, uh, and Pless and John Pless in Norway.

And Jim also came on some roundtable episodes, uh, in Norway as well.

So, so, so thinking fellows listeners may be familiar with him there or I would also guess

that a handful of listeners studied with Jim at Luther, Luther Seminary, where he taught.

So this episode is, you know, intended to be sort of the thinking fellows remembering Jim
