all right everybody um hi this is going to be a tough show because this is a tough day for us at the smog and tire over the weekend my good friend chef Carl Ruiz passed away

of uh i don't i don't exactly know how at the moment i don't really know the circumstances it was very uh sudden um and uh and he's gone now and that's incredibly incredibly sad for me um anyone who ever uh met him followed him on instagram or twitter heard him on the radio either with me or on an opi show or on my watch and listen podcast um he he was like uh he he was just

a ball of fire and uh and he he lived life at full throttle uh every time um sorry for a cheesy car metaphor but but that's what it is and uh he was a great chef uh but but his skills in the kitchen were uh in my opinion the least interesting thing about him um he knew
