I want to get straight to our first topic and I say a topic that I want to put a story behind the victim and the family.

0:32.5

Everyone knows that I work for Fox News early this morning. Before appearing on Fox News, I saw a story involving a senseless murder of a beautiful young lady.

0:44.5

Her name is Brianna Cuffer and I saw her father Todd Cuffer give a very solemn interview to Fox News about the loss of her loss of his daughter who was murdered while she was working at a upscale furniture store.

1:07.0

Brianna was a graduate of University of Miami before returning to California to pursue a degree at UCLA.

1:17.0

So often we have the stories that people are injured, murdered and the day goes on. The next day goes on we just somehow forget. We don't want to forget.

1:30.0

I'm privileged to have Todd Cuffer on. Talk Radio 790KBC. I hope you listen because I want to talk about his daughter.

1:43.0

I want to put a story behind the young lady who lost her life senselessly due to someone who randomly murdered her.

1:55.0

Without further ado, I'd like to bring on the father Todd Cuffer and welcome him first of all to talk Radio 790KBC. Todd, are you on the air?

2:06.0

Thank you, Leon. I'm here. Yes. Well, Todd, first of all, I'm just going to be honest, which I saw your interview this morning on Fox and friends. I started crying at home because it was so so moving.

2:20.0

And I like if I may talk about your daughter. I know that's tough and hard. Can you tell the KBC listener? Can you tell the city of Los Angeles, Southern California about Brianna?

2:36.0

Yeah, I'm just a professor. This isn't really really difficult time as you can imagine. It's as a family of six or four children and Brianna was extremely big part of that close to family. It's just so hard.

2:52.0

I'm doing this simply because I do want something bigger to happen in her behalf because she would want that in her light, bright, gentle, bright, just such a wonderful gal.

3:05.0

I've had so much sadness this week and some disbelief in times when you're numb and my wife is taking it very hard and my other kids as well because we're so close.

3:17.0

But we had some visits over the last couple days with some of her young friends and it's trying to different light than the one we always get to see.

3:24.0

You hear about her whittiness and her laughter and her fun and her greatness of games and it's really heartwarming and it just gives new memories and it sort of just helps fill in some of the blanks we have and it's just been so nice.

3:37.0

The reality is she just was a headstrong, lovely lady who really wanted to do well and she wanted people around her to do well.

3:48.0

She never wanted to be the center of attention but she ended up lighting up the room always and she didn't have to say much when she did.

3:55.0

She was witty or kind or even if it was cutting people were laughing because it was always meant, you know, in popularity and she was always trying to prove herself and she had lots of goals and bucket lists and lists of things she wanted to do and learn and she would do them and she'd cross them off and then make new ones.

4:15.0

She liked to create and she liked to play, she was smart and strong, she was a workout fanatic with her sister and she's encompassed everything I was so proud of her and I'm so proud of my other children but she was just right there leading the charge to what we need out of our youth.

4:35.0

Sort of sad to say but we're handing them a pretty difficult change over as they become adults in this world with all the calamity and societal issues and environmental issues and competitiveness and social media pressure and money issues and all this stuff and they're supposed to overcome it and we're often not giving them enough tools and certainly not in the love.
