Hey now, this is the Getting Over Wrestling podcast, and we are devastated to do this show today,

0:05.4

as we remember Wintam Rotunda, better known as WWE superstar Bray Wyatt, who died unexpectedly

0:11.6

Thursday at age 36. You know, the phrase one of a kind gets thrown around a lot in professional

0:18.3

wrestling, but few actually live up to that moniker.

0:23.2

Wyatt was certainly one of a kind, as was Terry Funk, who died Wednesday at age 79 and who we

1:18.2

to return to wrestling.

1:19.3

It was later reported that the condition was both career and life threatening.

1:23.7

And we were told as late as last week that was not only indeed the case, but there were actually

1:28.3

preliminary plans in place for him to return to WWE before the year was out. Sean Ross Sapp,

1:34.5

a fightful reported that Wyatt was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this year, which exasperated

1:40.5

some of his heart issues that I guess he had already. This is what we had heard from someone in
