Okay, at some point, every follower of Jesus will no doubt ask themselves,

if Jesus has really Lord of my life, then why do I keep sinning?

I know I've asked that question many times to myself.

And today, Pastor JD shows us how believing in our righteous identity in Christ

actually releases power that allows us to live up to that identity.

If we want the power to change, then we need to start by changing how we see ourselves

from dead in sin to alive in Christ. What better place to start?

Romans chapter 6, in this chapter, he's going to ask a question that every sincere follower of

Jesus asks at some point, if the power of the resurrection actually came into my heart,

if it is there in my heart, why do I still struggle so much? We're saying notice sin.

And why do I still seem to love some of the wrong things?

And why is it that I can't develop the courage to follow my conviction sometimes?

And why don't I love God more? Why am I not more naturally generous?
