So there we go, T's in the ring.

There was, at this point there was some real bad blood, right, between these two guys?

Yeah, you know, I was trying to get at that and preparing for the episode and the best I could actually find was the real bad blood was between David Schultz and Mr. T.

There was an incident backstage at a show in LA where Schultz basically threatened T. T. called the cops and basically

Shelts ended up being taken away at gunpoint by the cops.

Shelts basically doing like initiation on T and saying you can't be in the boy's locker room and get out of here and basically creating a very uncomfortable situation for the W.W.F.

Which despite Mr. T. being somewhat of a headache to work with, had to sort of placate him because he was such a key draw to the show and brought

so much attention to WrestleMania one and two.

But I couldn't find where this idea of Piper, you know, in the body of this match, it's said that Piper

actually gets a few legitimate hard licks in to protect kind of the

integrity that match that T may have seen I'm kind of combining things I've read and things

I remember and T may have taken exception or

offense or been spooked a little bit by the idea that if he went out there and

a wrestler decided not to cooperate he could be made to look very very bad I've

always heard that Mr T was very anxious and

nervous about being double-crossed, knowing he couldn't really fight in real life, and it would

kill his movie career and his TV career if he just got the crappy out of him by a wrestling,

went in a business for himself.

So there was always that element I think of mistrust between Piper and T.

I mean Piper never gave, far as I could tell, he never really gave Mr. T a reason not to trust him but

I have the feeling by the time they got in the ring here at Wrestle media too
