I fly ball into right field. She is gone.

Last night, probably around 10 o'clock or so, I was getting caught up on the happenings both in our world as well as in the world of Major League Baseball.

And as I was doing so, I came across two stories for Major League Baseball, both of them involving the New York Yankees.

The first story I came across was a wonderful story in every way, and it involves a current

Yankees team member. It's the kind of story that everybody can appreciate, and by everybody,

I mean even those who are not fans of the New York Yankees.

I even dare say, even if you despise the New York Yankees, you find this to be a wonderful story.

The other story involves a former Yankee, an all-time great Yankee.

And this story moves a person to tears.

It is a heartbreaking story that no sentient being can read without great sympathy and sorrow.

There are two videos that have been and continue, understandably so, to make their way around social media and media in general.
