0:44.3 | Today I'm talking about rejection-sensitive dysphoria, otherwise known as RSD. |
0:54.2 | It's important to note that RSD is not an official diagnosis, but it's often associated with autism and ADHD. |
0:59.7 | RSD is characterized by an intense emotional response to perceived or real rejection or criticism from other people. |
1:04.8 | Let's take a look at seven symptoms. |
1:08.0 | Number one, emotional sensitivity. |
1:15.9 | So people with RSD may have heightened emotional sensitivity, |

2:21.8 | might face criticism or rejection. So again, this may not even be while they're in that particular |
2:28.7 | situation. This is a fear of the potential situation. |
2:39.7 | This fear can sometimes result in avoiding certain activities or social interactions to prevent experiencing these very difficult emotions. |
