1:11.0	So tell me, what age was it that you got your diagnosis and found that you are autistic?
1:17.0	It's a very long story. We didn't know I had Asperger's growing up. We knew I had ADHD and it was probably in my late 20s. We had family and friends and even my general practitioner come and tell me come to my parents I should say that I think
1:37.4	Reed has got the symptoms of high-functioning autism so that kind of set off a bell above my parents head
1:44.6	and the light.
1:45.7	It's like, oh, that explains a lot of why he does what he does.
1:49.5	The way he is with people and why he has trouble not knowing when something is a joke and how to interact and stuff like that.
1:57.0	As life went on, we just went with that unofficial diagnosis for a while.
2:02.7	I graduated college and went on to get my masters later.
2:07.2	And then when I came home from school,
2:09.6	my mom's like, we're gonna try again
2:11.5	with Social Security and we went for Social Security and got that.
