Now, our first story comes from Vanity Loses. Am I the asshole for denying all of my children

college friends from my parents because they won't start one for my stepdaughter.

I married my wife eight years ago and at the time we both had a child from a previous situation

and we made a pact together that we would adopt each other's children and love them as though they were our own.

We had two more biological kids together.

I won't go into details, but

stepdaughter is the product of something not so pleasant that caused her mum to be estranged,

so my side of the family is the only normal family that my stepdaughter has ever had.

My sisters are super supportive and love their niece and make sure to include it in anything

that involves my biological kids.

However, my dad has been toxic and even told me that I don't need to marry a woman that had a child already.

On top of that, he once secretly DNA tested my older son and let me know about it after the fact that I was in the clear.

Well, I have explained to him that stepdaughter was my daughter in all ways except biology,
