So Nigel Franch has been reported to the police, and this is over claims that he denies, that he spent too much money getting elected to Clacton.

There's some pretty strict rules on how much money people can spend.

The person who's made the referral is a former member of his campaign team. It's a guy

called Richard Everett. So he used to be a reform counsellor. He also, of course, helped to get

Farage elected. He won his first parliamentary seat in Clefton. And he submitted these documents

to the Met Police that he says show an overspend. Now, Reform UK, I should say,

totally dispute this claims. They say that they're inaccurate and that they come from a

disgruntled former counsellor in Richard Everett. So just to give you their statement, they say

it's a disgruntled former counsellor. He was expelled several months ago. The party denies breaking electoral law. We look forward to clearing our name. But, yeah, Matt, looking into it.
