I'm Lee Camp.

Tonight, in light of major stock market readjustments, as the euphemism goes,

and new predictions that the next financial

crisis will be in a year or so. I talk with two great minds when it comes to economics,

Professor Richard Wolfe and the author of The Ponzi Factor, Tonleu. Professor Wolf has been a

noteworthy professor and critic of capitalism for the past many decades,

but only in the years since roughly Occupy, roughly 2011, has he suddenly gained celebrity status.

So this has been apparently the worst December for the stock market since the year 1980. What's going on here?

Well, you know, a lot of things are coming to a head.

Each one of them by itself might have gone by without this, but there are too many. Just to list major

ones, the tariff war with China, with Europe, and the rest creates enormous uncertainty,

makes all the predictions and plans of corporations, entire countries, uncertain people are

holding back, number one.
