The new film Red White and Royal Blue is a classic enemies to Lovers Rom

Com though in this case the Rom is queer and the Com arises out of the fact that there are huge

geopolitical stakes involved that's because the two lovers in question are the

Alex is a working-class Mexican-American kid with a chip on his shoulder who is now the

son of the president.

He's played by Taylor Zakar Perez.

Henry is the sensitive pillow-lipped prince of England who finds the

quarters of privileged stuffy and suffocating. He's played by Nicholas Galatzine.

They don't like each other at first, but when they cause a pastry-related scandal at a royal wedding,

their handlers forced them to embark upon a shared PR campaign to convince the world that they can actually stand each other.
