So Chris Cotillo, Mass Live, Red Sox reporter tweeted in the last few minutes. Red Sox have met with Pete Alonzo on Zoom recently, and they're trying to schedule an in-person sit down here in Orlando. A person with knowledge of the bidding says it would be surprising for a deal with any club to come together by the end of the week, but as always, it only takes one call. So I think they might do one thing that you're impressed by, but otherwise everything else is going to be only done if it makes sense for them contractually their number one priority is their payroll and that's going to dictate every move that they make maybe they'll give you one that sort of comes outside of that where you would say they extended themselves otherwise it's all about the budget and that's what and that's what you're going to get pretty much yeah got, you know, it's pretty self-evident. Jeff and Newport on that. Go ahead, Jeff. What's going on, guys? Mazz, I need to be a better Red Sox fan because I was not as cynical about this team as I should be. At this point, I'm kind of giving up on the whole pitching sweepstakes, obviously Joe Ryan's gone. And frankly, you can kind of do something,
