Whoops! Craig Breslow, the day after the Red Sox traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants said that.

And, well, I for one agreed that the Red Sox had a chance to be a better team, not a more talented team, but a better team without Rafi Devers.

And it would come out in the wash and on the scoreboard.

And so far, Craig Breslow and people like me are losing a big time losing lost period yeah it's no it's not a final analysis first but listen we have a show to do today

I put it in your face you put it in mine and then we show up again tomorrow and do it all over

and that's the way that this thing works so I am here to take. I'm here to take it from the likes of anyone who thought correctly to this point that the

Red Sox would be hurt by trading their best hitter. That feels like a pretty easy, safe take,

but, you know, sometimes that's why they're easy and safe takes, because they're generally

right. And so far that one's right.

That, well, it feels like the Red Sox are in the midst of, on the verge of, already in the middle of a tailspin following the trade of Rafi Devers after they lose again yesterday in

Anaheim and get swept by the wretched angels and limp home after a three and six road trip.

Maz, what are your thoughts?
