1:19.6	As of the day we're recording this, February 16, 2023, over 300 pieces of anti-trans legislation
1:27.2	have been introduced in state legislatures all over the
1:29.8	country. That's since January of this year. And that legislation targets the ability of trans folks
1:39.1	to access gender-affirming care, not only for trans kids, but for trans adults. And a huge reason
1:46.7	why this legislation has been so successful is that the conversation with and about trans people
1:52.7	has been captured by folks who don't want trans people to exist. I feel like a huge part of my
1:59.9	work in the media since I have become a public figure has been about changing the conversation that we have with and about trans people away from surgery and transition and towards our humanity.
2:14.2	So today, we need to have a conversation about reclaiming the narrative with and about trans people from the perspective of trans humanity, from perspective that trans people have a right to exist in the world on our own terms and have bodily autonomy.
