Russ battles seizures as his health declines.

Sienna seeks new sources of income to assist him.

Jimana continues to fight against the scourge of blood rot by acquiring and distributing treatment kits.

Meanwhile, Carver locates the source of the resurrection technology that is bringing people back to life.

It belongs to a scientist called Halliwell, who is attempting to perfect the ultimate life extension

tech. Carver seizes the tech and uses it to create his own army of zombies, which he sets loose

to create havoc in Dockerton. Emily returns from

the deadlands and unwittingly places Curran in Halliwell's care. Curran dies during an experiment.

It's also discovered that blood rot is a direct result of Halleywell's research and is spread by the

zombies. As time runs out, Rust, Summers and the others managed to thwart the zombie

hoard by intercepting the signaling technology at a tower in Dockerton.

During the fight, Russ throws Carver from the tower and kills him.

An explosion at the tower causes Russ to lose both legs and an arm.

He is lucky to survive.

At the same time, Nali invades the safe house and is shot dead by Siena.

In the aftermath, Rust is taken to Halliwell's lab in Highgate City, where work begins

on developing replacement limbs.

Due to the destruction of the ghost technology, Bloodrott is on the way to being eradicated.

Summers and Tennikoff begin the clean-up in Dockerton.
