Hey there, this is Mark Haley with a recap of the Strata Season 2, Echoes.

After a career marked by failure, Detective Summers reunites with her old partner,

Dalton, in the hunt for a killer. The victim was known to Summers through a recent assault case,

where Summers was unable to secure a conviction,

largely because of the corruption within the police department. Dalton uses a new form of tracking

technology to assist in hunting the killer. During their time together, some old wounds are reopened

between Summers and Dalton. As they tracked the killer through the old Dockerton subway system,

Summers sees what look like silver eyes glowing

in the darkness, but they disappear before she can investigate further. When Summers and Dalton

reached the destination, they find that Dalton's tech is fatally flawed. The whole time he was

confusing past events with the present. As a result, the killer escapes and Dalton, with his mind

damaged by the tech, is sent to a care facility.

Summers quits the PD and carries on her own investigation.

In the final scene, she faces off with the killer and prepares to take him down vigilante style.

She then plans to go after the powerful Fortunato crew, the source of much of the corruption in the strata. In a brief epilogue, the gang lord Carver from season one, who is now

imprisoned in Blackhall, calls his underling Nali, who is being kept in a separate prison facility.

Carver announces that the two will be reunited at Blackhall and that together they will plot

their revenge against the career rust. This completes the recap for this season.
