I've had a lot of new listeners reach out to me and say that they've tried to find the prison series,

but it's really far down in my catalog and it gets

hung up and they can't find it so I'm going to release a few of these over the

next few days next week I will have a new episode or two out for you.

One other thing I do want to point out,

this is very specific to one women's prison in California,

although I did do a little research into Idaho

because at the time this was originally released

Lori Valo had just been sentenced to prison.

We're going to keep going today with this prison series on Lori. I've been talking to my contact in prison all weekend.

She has been talking to other inmates. They all have followed this case very closely.

It's just one of those big ones that they latch on to and I never would have guessed that if you're in prison that you would want to watch anything true crime related but clearly this is one of the bigger genres for people

especially at least at this prison these women love true crime they followed this

trial start to finish sentencing they watched live but first music fact of the day

Folsom Prison Blues this was a number one country hit for four weeks by the amazing Johnny Cash

He made prison reform his political cause of choice
