Welcome in another episode of RealTree Rebels, Chase Farm and Bill Jordan, joining me, RealTree founder and one of the architects, the new Ole Miss RealT tree helmet that got announced this week all over social media.

The rebels will wear it and their upcoming game against Oklahoma here later this season.

Another iteration of it, a little more of a Navy version of the helmet, normal Ole Miss script on the side.

So we're going to talk about that today and some other things as well here coming up with Bill. The you're gracious enough to give us a little bit of his time, that he's got guests in town, got stuff going on. So I appreciate it. Bill, it's a Thursday here before the Georgia Southern game. Thanks for joining us for a few minutes. I know it's a busy couple days for you head to Oxford on Saturday. Oh, it is. I tell you, the weather's warm. It's going to be like 89, 90 degrees here. And I think the same thing in Oxford. But, you know, spring and has gone, summer's here. And hopefully fall is right here with us too. Yeah, I'm going to get to the helmets in a second, but you and I were on the phone yesterday a little bit.

You got Tyler off in the Yukon right now.

You had much contact with him.

He's up there moose hunting and trying to get a little work accomplished.

You know, Tyler, you know, obviously my oldest son that you know well and Ole Miss graduate.

And one of his dream hunts was to go up in the Yukon for a moose hunt, a bow hunt.

And so he did a lot of exercising and training for it and walking,

but I think he underestimated how tough it really was going to be.

And, you know, it's one of those trips that you take a bush plane in with a bush pilot,

and they drop you off.

And they can only take one at a time in.

So our camera guy and the guy's had to go in at separate times.

And the whole time he's been there, they've had a lot of rain, fog,

and can't really see that well for a spotting moose.

And then on top of it with the rain I know one day he

stayed six hours in a tent just trying to keep out of the rain it was raining so hard so it's been

a very as he said a very physically challenging hunt and he said also mentally because they're in

the middle of nowhere and they're walking five six seven miles a miles a day, you know, up in the mountains and it's been pretty hard on him. Yeah, I sent him a text yesterday morning and I looked down at my phone about an hour later and then remembered he didn't get that. There's no service. There's nothing going through or whatever. And then later on, he sent me a text from, I guess, a satellite phone or whatever he was doing to get back to

talk to me about talking to you. But yeah, I went, yeah, no, he's in the middle of nowhere. He's not getting any of that communication. Well, you know, we've been on these type trips before he has a satellite phone. So, you know, that's good to make contact with. And he has Garmin, you know, too, that he can send texts out on.
