And there's so many different paranormal things that happen. And to me, the paranormal is not just ghost, because I think that's what people think these days, but it's UFOs

and all of these different things that happen. And we have a fantastic guest with us to talk about

all these different phenomena. And it is the subject of a new book just out. It's called

strange paranormal realities in the Everyday World,

and our guest is Andy Thomas, and we're so glad to have him with us today. Andy is one of the

world's leading researchers into unexplained mysteries and conspiracy theories. His books include

the acclaimed The Truth Agenda, which explores paranormal phenomena and global cover-ups, conspiracies, the most authoritative and comprehensive book on the topic from JFK in the moon landings to fake news to mass surveillance and vital signs, the definitive guide to crop circles.

He lectures widely around the globe and appears regularly on television and radio.

And actually, I was just sharing with Andy.

He was on episode four of the paranormal podcast back in August 2005.

And I don't know much now, but I knew absolutely nothing then. So I really appreciate

his willingness to come on the show and talk with a neophyte back then. And so glad to have him

back on the show. And he's been on a couple times since then, certainly. Andy, welcome back to the show.

Yeah, it's one of those things where I just can't believe that much time has passed, but here we are and we're still both doing our thing. So, so that's pretty cool. I do want to ask you about that. You know, it kind of frustrates me. When I called this show the paranormal podcast, I meant all of it. You know, I come from, I grew up on in search of, you know,

this kind of big tent philosophy where we're going to talk about UFOs. We're going to talk

about ghosts. We're going to talk about cryptic creatures, strange disappearances, like this

big tent philosophy.
