Today is Part 4 of 'Real Estate Agents Guide To Getting Rich and Staying Rich" We start with this question: Why are 99.9% of agents blissfully broke? Self-discovery questions: 1- Why did you decide to become an agent...deep down, why? You wanted to not have a boss, done. You wanted no one to control your schedule, done. You wanted to 'own your own business.' the romantic notion of the self-made man/ woman appeals to you.  You wanted to be rich....not done. 2- What is your product...what do you produce? (Profit) With that profit, you become debt-free, buy investments that cover your personal overhead. Thus, you are no longer working for money...your money is working for you.  3- What is YOUR definition of rich? (Don't say happiness....don't say any emotional word. That is proof that you aren't drilling down and just going with the easy trendy response) 4- Do you think selling real estate makes you rich? SELLING Real Estate won't make you rich.  The second, not-so-hard lesson is that everyone CAN be rich. It's not hard provided you focus on PROFIT as your product. 5-Ask yourself..If you had to choose between being rich and being famous, which would you choose? (rich) That is a lie. You choose to be famous based on your real-world work activities. You have a choice now between calling 10 FSBOs or doing social media BS...which would you choose?
