It is Selection Day for the college football playoff as Sunday gets here.

busy lately a lot of stuff with the the upheaval regarding the uh the coaching situation you know

i think i told you ben i uh last week i'd had it planned for a while had gone to uh to see a musical

in memphis i'm a big theater guy i I think some people know that, some don't.

And I had gone up there, and I knew that I might be in trouble. So I had asked people and I said, hey, what time is that team meeting? And they said, oh, no, 9 a.m. And I was like, oh, good. Like, it's going to get out. We're going to get work done. We're cool. and the musical started at one.

Well, about an hour later later as I was getting ready

to lead somebody goes hey no that that meeting got moved to one and I was like oh my god okay

so 120-ish we're 20 15 minutes into the musical whatever it is and. And my phone kind of, I look down, somebody's like, hey, Pete Golding, full-time head coach. And I'm like, full-time. Like, hold on a minute. That wasn't what I thought. So hold on a minute. Let me, like, work on it. So I'm texting back, and the usher comes down and, like, gets on to me. He's like, sir, you got to put your phone away. I'm like, so I get up, I walk out for three minutes and I make a couple phone calls.

I quickly get confirmation that Pete is the full-time coach.

I posted, I tweet it, whatever.

And then I publish a story that I already had ready earlier for Lane leaving and like whatever.

So within three minutes I was back in there, but I went, okay, I was efficient as I could have been,
