story? Are you a Philadelphian or local to the area? I'm not a Philadelphiaan, but I've been

covering schools across the country for the past few years. And so I actually found this story by

connecting with teachers in the school district who raised concerns to me saying they felt that this curriculum not only was it not accurately depicting American history to its students, but it was actively teaching students a very specific narrow worldview and not frankly equipping them to be able to go out into the world and

apply the knowledge that they're getting in high school to the real world because it was so

biased.

And so that's actually how I ended up coming to the story was through the teachers themselves
