Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing,

0:08.2

and we are going to break down the Ravens big, and I mean big. 41 to 17 win over the Cleveland Browns.

0:18.6

This, as John Harbaugh said, was a bounce-back win.

0:21.9

The Ravens coming off a really tough loss in Buffalo.

0:25.8

They needed this one.

0:26.7

You know, you come back home against a division rival

0:29.3

that you should beat, that you're widely favored to beat.

0:32.5

You need to beat them.

0:33.3

And the Ravens not only beat them, but pulled away down the stretch, which you especially love to see, considering how they coughed up that lead in Buffalo. Yeah, there's a few things that I like about it. I really like the way the Ravens close the game. That to me stands out, really on both sides of the ball. They came up with big plays offensively. They came up with turnovers on defense. It turned those turnovers into big plays, put the offense in position to capitalize, or just took it all the way to the house themselves on the Roquan Smith scoop and score. So they closed the game, the way you want to see a team close things out, especially when they're playing somebody who they're better then. They're playing at home and they're the better team, and you want to see them close it out. You don't want to see them hang on for dear life. You want to see them put the exclamation point on things. And the Ravens were able to do that today. And the other piece that I like about it is, is like they did not allow last week's game to beat them twice. That was the thing that everyone was talking about all throughout

1:27.9

the week. And they didn't do it. They came out and they played a team. We all talked about last season,

1:35.4

how the Ravens lost the opener to Kansas City, and then came home, and again, that they were

1:39.6

heavily favored to win against the Raiders and dropped it. And so that was fresh on the minds of fans and players and coaches and everybody this week.

1:47.3

And the Ravens did not have a repeat performance of that.

1:49.6

And so I thought it was just a, it was a good day across the board for this team.

1:52.7

I think overall, and Marlon Humphrey spoke this week about it.

1:56.2

He said, we weren't a mature team in Buffalo.

1:59.5

That was the word that he used was maturity.

2:02.0

And this win required maturity.

2:05.7

A, because the Browns did not make it easy early in this game.

2:09.5

I mean, it was like kind of a slog of a first half.

2:13.4

And that's often how it just is with Cleveland.

2:17.2

You know, you get a tough defense division rival.
