I didn't mean to interrupt you because there was literally a to-go bag that every Spartan fan had at that game.

You know what a to-go bag is?

It means like in the event of an emergency, all your essentials are in a backpack that you could

just grab and leave. Because I think every Spartan was ready to leave and just say we're done with this guy. Yeah, I felt like I had the pulse of the people. So that's why I was laughing. Like we all had the to go bag ready and we said, oh, okay. But look, I thought it was a bit of a program game. And I, look, I understand something too, right?

For people hearing this, I'm not going to make this into more than what it is.

There's scale for every program.

If you're at power, like Michigan's had this unbelievable run, Ohio State, the definition of a program game becomes something way different.

When you are rebuilding and you're at the bottom, you can't have those lofty measuring sticks.

You can't.

For Michigan State, it's simple.

You're at home at night.

There's no buzz around the program.

You're looking for something to validate progress has been made.

When you get a Power 4 team, and I do think Boston College is probably a seven or eight win team,

and this Lonnergan kid is pretty damn good.
