We come up here a lot, you know, every week talk about the same types of things,

0:03.9

NBA shenanigans, stuff that goes on every single week, right? I have to say. This is the funniest weekend of NBA news we have to talk about in quite a long time. We have absolute nonsense to talk about this week. Some goofy-ass stuff happened and it's going to be great to die straight into it. Tell me about it. Well, I'm going to save the goofy stuff

0:20.9

because I need to let people get time

0:22.1

to get into the stream to get the funniest part.

0:23.7

But just know, the New York Knicks have a new enemy.

0:26.0

I'm sure you're well aware. Yes, I was told. What's the name? What do you look like? You'll see. T-Rex. Hmm. Okay. noticing some.

0:33.3

Yep, yep, yep, yep.

0:34.0

Lots of things to talk about

0:35.0

including that.

0:35.4

We'll get to it.

0:36.5

I think we should start.

0:38.6

Let's give an update.

0:40.0

We never had a chance

0:41.0

to talk about including that. We'll get to it. I think we should start. Let's give an update. We never had a chance to talk in depth about Chris Paul being fired by the Clippers. We alluded to it. Sorry, the last episode that we forgot to talk about it. We have lots of new news pertaining to this Chris Paul story. As you guys know, he was cut about a week ago now. In the dead of night, Sean's tweets it, says, they are releasing Chris Paul. He's away from the team being sent home. And everybody immediately jumps and says, how could you possibly do that to a team legend, to a team goats? This is disgusting to treat a legend this way, right? Then we got a lot more updates. And now people were debating. Is it disgusting or did he wear out his welcome and did he deserve it? I want to know your guys' reaction to this. First, starting with this, Chris Paul reportedly told Kauai to switch off of Clay Thompson because Kauai were struggling. Jeff Van Gunny then told Chris Paul, you might have had leeway in other places that changed with defensive coverages, but you don't have that leeway here. My question to you is, does Chris Paul

1:32.2

have that leeway? He should. He should. Like, I, I can understand this sentiment if like Terrence,

1:40.6

man, back in the day, like if he was doing something like this, or if you were getting

1:44.9

somebody that is just not that caliber of player. But when you know that Chris Paul is one of the

1:51.4

smartest players in NBA history, he should have a little bit of leeway, right? He should be

1:57.1

able to say, hey, what? Let's just not do this.

2:01.0

And clearly, whatever Jeff Van Gundy was running wasn't working because Kauai was getting cooked.

2:07.7

He just came back.

2:09.5

He has to run around trying to follow Clay Thompson.
