It is the tale of the moment when Dan Quail went after Murphy Brown.

I have a theory that episodes we made sometime before March of 2020 have a much lower chance of being ones that a random audience member has heard already because for whatever reason we got a lot of new listeners in spring of last year.

This is one of the ones that we made in the past that I think is a really good one. It's one of my favorites and also one that isn't a complete downer.

Honestly, those are hard to come by. I wanted to offer this to you guys as a little summer and to fall rerun.

I'm extremely excited about because I don't know if you even know this about me. I love Murphy Brown and I love Murphy Brown when I was a teenager. Yes.

I have the Faith Ford cookbook. Faith Ford played quirky on Murphy Brown.

They started airing it on Nick at night or something. Some cable channel when I was 16 and I remember sitting on the car studying for the SATs and watching Murphy Brown. And I was like wow I show about a woman who yells at people.

It's all about like Murphy Brown. She's a no nonsense news woman in 80s DC and she yells at her guests. She's like this confrontational flinty wasp Candice Bergen.

Did you remember the controversy do you remember 1992 when all this happened. I never saw those episodes but I know that Murphy Brown had a baby as a single mother.

And what I know is that Dan Quail decided for some reason to attack Murphy Brown. A television show. Yes.
