Summary

It’s our favorite time of year over at Read-Aloud Revival! It’s time for Christmas School!

Most of us have too much on our plates before the busy holiday season begins. Then December hits and we feel behind on … well… everything.

But for homeschoolers, December should be the best month of our entire year.

That’s what Christmas School is for.

Christmas School is a whole-family curriculum from Read-Aloud Revival that helps your family slow down, savor the season, and wait in joyful hope.

Join thousands of families and replace your current curriculum with a month of Christmas School to make December a different kind of month in your homeschool year.

A better one.

Today, I’m sharing what you can expect in this year’s Christmas School, plus we’ll hear from families who have participated in and loved Christmas School in the past.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • What’s included in your Christmas School guide
  • How Christmas School works for students ages 4-17 (no, really!)
  • An extra-special read-aloud to look forward to

before the busy holiday season even begins, right?

0:48.8

I mean, I don't know about you,

0:50.4

but I wasn't bored or looking for something to fill my time or to fill my kids homeschool day

0:56.7

Before the holidays, right? And so then December hits and things get real busy and we sort of feel behind on everything.

1:05.0

Which is sort of a shame because for homeschoolers, especially for Christian homeschoolers.

1:11.0

December should be the best month of our entire year. This is an

1:16.7

opportunity to slow down and to savor the season, the holiness of these days the

1:21.8

great gift of Jesus.

1:23.0

And on a normal homeschooling day, homeschooling feels like a lot,

1:27.0

at least it does, has always felt like a lot to me, right?

1:30.0

So then adding Marymaking on top of that can feel very overwhelming.

1:35.0

So the good news of course is that you don't have to add merrymaking on top of your already full homeschooling schedule because that is what Christmas

1:45.3

school is for. Christmas school is a month-long program. It replaces your current

1:51.4

homeschooling curriculum just for a few weeks in December to help you wait in joyful hope to savor the season because we want your December to feel better. We want your advent to feel rich and full and like the slow

2:09.5

wholly time that it is. But we also know that you don't want to set aside school completely. I

2:15.2

don't anyway, right? You don't want to or you can't put school aside for the whole month
