Last time, I told you about the inspiration for Waxwing Books. Today, I’ll take you on the rest of the adventure of producing our first book.

Last time on the Read-A-Loud Revival, I grew up reading the Penderwick novels and loved

from my own garden and putting them in there and then buying things. It was very gradual. And the

only person that really knew I was there and saw me was this wonderful custodian named Ron.

And I still take care of it. It feels like another way of the garden you paying forward

that it became a story for you. Something well-dupped in me. I desired to make this book.

This book that I loved and that Tommy loved. And so in keeping with my habit of waiting into
