I was calling about what your kids read once they got into high school and upper grades for fun.

I have a freshman in high school who read avidly all the way through about sixth grade and then

ran out of things to read. He's read all of the Percy Jackson's, all of the Harry Potter's,

he's read all of the Jennifer Nielsen's and finding a hard time finding something that will

challenge him and reading ability but is also of interest to him. Hey Karen. Okay, this is a great

question. I think it's always useful to start when we have a question about what we should do or

is there a good book or would you have recommendations is to sort of back up and consider what our goal is.

So in this case, let's consider what your goal is for your son's reading life in high school.

One really good way to get clear on this is just to fill in the blank in this sentence.

After my child graduates, my son can blank. He still knows blank and he values blank. I'll put
